Now That's a Forecast!

I am pretty excited to be heading to Florida on Thursday.  I pulled up the 10 day forecast and it looks amazing!

I hope my beach chair is ready for me. I plan to spend a lot of time soaking up the sun!

Hometown Tourists

It's Saturday morning, the first weekend of spring. What's a couple to do?  If you are Mike and Kim, you plan an outing that makes you tourists in your own area. 

First up, a tour of Edsel and Eleanor Ford's house in Gross Pointe Shores. 

We had toured this house one other time, a long time ago. It may have even been before we had kids and were living in Toledo. 

After the tour, we drove by the abandoned Packard plant on our way to Tacqueria Mi Pueblo for lunch. 

This is Mike's lunch.

This is my lunch. Yummy, delicious!

Here's Mike on our way out. See that yellow bag?  That's our dessert for later.  A piece of chocolate cake and a piece of Tres Leches cake. We'll share these a little later.
