January 6, 2017- Beach Days

I've been on the beach the last few days after going for a morning walk around the island. 

 

I took some pictures while walking. I've really enjoyed my morning "tours" of the island. 

 

 

 

Here's my view on the beach. 

 

 

Last night we went to the Square Grouper for drinks and appetizers as the sun went down. It's in Jupiter across from the lighthouse. 

 

 

We enjoyed the view. The weather was perfect. 

 

 

 

Yes, we had lots of fun. 

 

January 3, 2017- Beach and Golf

Here's what I did today:  

 

Mike played golf and made friends with some gators. 

 

 

 

January 2, 2017- Beachin' It

Not much going on in Florida these days. WThe weather has been nice, but very windy. I've been walking every morning  and then laying out on the beach. 

 

These cute coconut heads have caught my attention each morning. The first day they were decked out in Santa hats, but I didn't snap a picture. Missed my opportunity since the next day the hats were gone!  

 

 

It was sure windy at the Sailfish Marina this morning. But the boats were beautiful as always. 

 

The real highlight of the day came late in the afternoon when rain was moving through- I think the picture says it all!  

 

 

December 31, 2017- New Years Eve

We spent the day on the beach!  Our third day in Florida and the first time at the beach.  We rang in the new year at Eastpoint Country Club. Lots of fun!

December 30, 2016- Orange Bowl Game

It was a cold day in Florida. Temps barely reached 60 degrees. But that was ok, it would make for a nice night for football. We left Singer Island at 4:30. Turns out it was a good thing we left early because traffic was heavy and it took us twice as long to get to the stadium than it should have. The up side was that we saw a beautiful sunset. 

 

The Hard Rock Stadium looked impressive as we were approaching it. 

 

 

 

We had really nice seats above the team tunnel. 

 

 

 

 

 

The first half of the game was horrible. Michigan played so poorly. We got a nice view of Harbaugh coming off the field at half time. 

 

 

The game gave us little to cheer about until the last few minutes. But, we did spot Uncle Fred sitting a row in front of us, so we went and talked to him. 

 

 

Even though Michigan lost by one point, it was a fun night.
