Feb. 19, 2015- Good Morning, California!

We woke up this morning to the beautiful view from our hotel room. We are staying in Emeryville this time at the Hilton Garden Inn. 

It's going to be another beautiful sunny day here. Unfortunately for Chris, he's home in the following:

His text to us said he was leaving for class dressed as if he were going snowboarding. Poor guy. 

On our schedule this morning is picking up Jon, going to Philz Coffee, then breakfast at La Note. 

What you can't see in this picture is the chocolate croissant we polished off. 

After breakfast, we drove into the city and dropped Jon off at his lab. He would work and then go to track practice, leaving Mike and I on our own for the rest of the day.  Would see him again at 7:15 pm.
