Saying goodbye to Michigan. Sitting in my first class seat waiting for take off.
We have a smooth flight to Atlanta. Then as part of our layover, Mike takes me to the Delta lounge and the outdoor patio he discovered on his trip to Argentina.
Of course, it's too warm for sitting here for any length of time, we are in "Hotlanta" after all, so it's back into the air conditioning we go!
The long leg of our trip is next. 9 hours to Amsterdam and then the 2 and a half hour drive to Cologne, Germany.

We made it to Amsterdam.
Checked in at the Marriott in Cologne and are now on our way to dinner at the Fru.
