A Very Busy Day in Brugge

Started the day with A Croque Madame for breakfast.

Then we went on a canal boat tour.

Then it was time for a hot chocolate.

Right near the chocolate cafe was the Basilica of the Holy Blood. We went in to see the cloth used to wipe Christ's blood after his crucifixion.

And then we just walked around town using the map and reading about the places.

This was a convent and we never learned why there are these crazy looking tree houses in the courtyard.

We ate dinner at a cool place recommended by our hotel clerk. It was a local beer place names after the "King of Beer" Cambrinus.

We went on a really nice walk this evening as it was getting dark. We found some nice quiet residential streets. And to end the evening...

The stomach ache will be worth it!
